The Clean Zyme & Skin Zyme Duo by Jan Marini Skin Research is a highly regarded, enzymatic at home resurfacing treatment. Powered by papain (a proteolytic enzyme derived from green unripened papaya), this pair selectively digests dead skin cells and keratin without irritating healthy or sensitive tissue. It is commonly used as a weekly exfoliation step to reveal a glowing, polished complexion, and is gentle enough to manage flaking after clinical treatments.
How to Use the Duo
- Cleanse: Wash your face with the Clean Zyme Face Cleanser and gently massage in circular motions. Leave on for 1-2 minutes to lift surface debris, then wipe away with a damp cloth.
- Apply the Mask: Apply a thin, even layer of the Skin Zyme Mask over your face and neck. Leave it on for 15-20 minutes. The mask is heat-activated, so you can increase its effectiveness by sitting in a warm shower, applying a warm compress, or using facial steam.
- Remove: Apply a small amount of the Clean Zyme Cleanser over the mask to reactivate it, gently massage, and rinse completely.
